Over the years we have been involved in many restoration works ,ranging from decals for tractors,  motor cycles ,cars & boats through to historic merry go round horses &  rounders.

In the year 2000 we joined forces with Brian Lester of Padfa services to undertake the restoration of the midland town hall, roll of honour boards.
The 4 boards had originally been painted onto the plaster of the walls, but over the years had been painted over & then replaced by wooden copies. the originals were discovered by accident when the copies were removed during renovation work ,while paint scrapings were being taken from behind the copies  to establish the original wall colours. the hand painted originals were uncovered & due to their heritage value it was decided to restore them to their former glory.
Brian had the difficult job of removing the years of paint to reveal all 4 boards so as the restoration could begin ,once uncovered Brian set about restoring  the painted wood grain backgrounds.
Robbie Henderson of our company then set about restoring the fine detail to the back ground pictures & the mammoth task of rewriting the several hundred gilded names of those who had served their country during the great wars.
Both Brian & Robbie were rewarded for their efforts by the Master Painters Association when they were awarded first place at the associations 2000 awards for excellence night in the category of distinctive finishes , historic restorations ,edging out a very strong & distinguished field.
